MAK Skin Studio is a small, locally owned business located in the heart of Austin, Texas. For the past 8 years I have been perfecting my skill and educating my clients on how to best care for their skin at home. I left the fancy "spa" world and opened my own practice so I could make facials affordable, rather than the occasional "luxury". Through the use of aromatherapy & organic skin care, I am able to offer customized facials that will leave your skin feeling rejuvenated. I choose to take a "less is more" approach by using high-touch methods in place of high-tech. While there is a lot of amazing technology out there made to dramatically improve your skin over night, I still feel that nothing can replace the human touch. Nurturing the skin back to health will give you longer lasting results that are easy to maintain on your own. My organic approach allows your skin to heal and rejuenate itself at the rate that is healthy for your individual skin type. Everybody's skin is different and will respond differently to each treatment. Therefore, customizing a skin care plan for you, as an individual, is the key to a successful skin care regimen.
